A Letter from Our Founder
When I started WithASpin, I was a new mother with a simple wish: to make Ramadan festive and memorable for my daughter. But that wish soon led me to a bigger question: Did our home reflect who we were as a Muslim family? Did it nurture our faith and give our daughter a sense of identity she could carry with confidence?
Like many families, I had filled our home with beautiful things, but without much intention. But I began to realize I wanted more than a beautifully decorated space. I wanted a home that told our story, reflected our values, and brought our faith into the everyday moments of our lives.
I began to see our home differently. Not as a space to perfect or impress, but as a sanctuary where we gather, grow, welcome others, pray, and live our deen. I wanted the pieces we brought into our home to have purpose, carrying reminders of our faith into everyday family life and helping our children grow up surrounded by the values we hope they will carry with them.
A Salam sign by the entryway. An Alhamdulillah piece where we gather as a family. A peaceful corner for prayer. Art that inspires dhikr. Each thoughtful detail became an opportunity to make our home feel more like us, a reflection of what we believe and the life we hope to build.
That vision became the heart of WithASpin. What began as a mother’s desire to make Ramadan special for her daughter grew into a deeper purpose: to create thoughtfully designed home décor and gifts that celebrate our Muslim identity and bring beauty, remembrance, and meaning into everyday life.
Today, I hope every piece you find at WithASpin feels like more than décor, a gift for a special occasion, or something beautiful for someone you love. I hope it helps you surround your family with meaningful reminders of your deen. Because the things we bring into our homes can do more than fill a space. They can help shape the memories we make, the traditions we cherish, and the values we pass on.
My hope is that our homes become places where faith is woven into everyday life, where our families gather, memories are made, and our values are lived. Homes that welcome others with warmth, nurture our faith, and reflect a life lived with intention. And may Allah make our homes among the stepping stones to the eternal home we pray for in the Hereafter.
